Biography
Dr. Heein Yoon received the B.S. degree (summa cum laude) and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST), Ulsan, South Korea, in 2014 and 2019, respectively.

She was an Intern with Qualcomm, Inc., San Diego, CA, USA, in 2017. From 2019 to 2022, she was with Qualcomm, Inc., San Diego, CA, USA, where she was involved in designing 5G transceivers. Since 2022, she has been with the School of Electrical Engineering, UNIST, where she is currently an Assistant Professor.

Dr. Yoon was the recipient of the Korean Government Scholarship (GPF), the IEEE SSCS Student Travel Grant Award (STGA) in 2017, the IEEE Student Research Preview (SRP) Award at ISSCC in 2018 as recognized the outstanding poster, and the IEEE Solid-State Circuits Society Predoctoral Achievement Award for 2019−2020. Prof. Yoon was the recipient of the Bronze Prize, the Honorable Mention, and the Bronze Prize at the 23rd, 24th, and 25th HumanTech Paper Award hosted by Samsung Electronics in 2017, 2018, and 2019, respectively. She is currently serving on the Technical Program committees (TPC) for the IEEE International Solid-State Circuits Conference (ISSCC) and a guest editor for the IEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits (JSSC).

Her current research interests include RF, analog/mixed IC designs, clock/frequency generation systems for emerging wireless and wireline standards, and analog-to-digital converter (ADC).
